JOB SUMMARY:

The Purchasing Coordinator role is to help support and optimize the Lone Star Pharmaceutical supply chain network. Relationship management with suppliers and vendors will be key to maintaining excellent communication flow. The Purchasing Coordinator is primarily responsible for sourcing and purchasing essential products for Lone Star Pharmaceuticals. Their duties include buying products quickly and efficiently as directed by the Supply Chain Team and Pricing Analyst.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and follow the organization's procurement rules and regulations
  • Buy products as instructed by the Supply Chain Team and Pricing Analyst
  • Provide confirmation and tracking eta of orders placed via RX supplier direct accounts
  • Provide oversight and follow-up for all orders placed via RX supplier and direct accounts
  • Create purchase orders in SAP for all incoming products
  • Document and communicate confirmed purchase orders with appropriate departments
  • Obtain invoice and T3 information from suppliers and maintain for documentation
  • Maintain awareness while searching for products and be prepared to adjust priorities based on requests
  • Assist with and search incoming product requests for access/availability
